Connection and principle of action.

Procedure for connecting the device:

– connect the supplied adapter to the regular OBD connector;

– insert the SIM card into the device;

– connect the device to the corresponding connector on the adapter;

– wait for the device to initialize on the network.

Run the Ford GSM Key app on Android, and go to Settings – Profile, enter your personal ID in the "Device ID" field, which is located on the back of the device, save and restart the app.

The device is ready for use if the car has a keyless access system.

In the case of a car with key access, the following steps must be performed:

• get into the car and close the door;
• insert the key into the ignition lock;
• turn on the ignition, turn off the ignition - repeat these actions 8 times and leave it ON;
• if everything is done quickly and correctly, a signal will sound from the harness;
• now it is necessary to press any button alternately on all existing key fobs, and also press the Close/Open button from the application. After each action, there will be sound accompaniment from the groomer;
• turn off the ignition.

In order for the remote start from the application to work, this function must be activated in the car.

The application has an interface, on which is reflected:

• pressure in each wheel;
• % battery charging;
• battery voltage;
• temperature in the cabin
• outside temperature;
• engine temperature.

The software of the device supports the possibility of updating using the microUSB port via a computer, for this you need to perform actions:

• disconnect the device from the car;
• connect to a computer via a USB cable and install the driver
• launch the "Ford GSM Key CFG" software.
• upon successful connection, the software will display information about the software version of the device.
• to update the firmware, click the "Update from file" button and select the new firmware file.

The process of successfully completing the update is accompanied by a corresponding message in the software, in case of failure, repeat the process.
