One of the areas of our activity is the manufacture of printed circuit boards for overexposure of control units., the climate, dashboards, etc..
So today we will show the process of overexposure in Toyota Land Cruiser 100, all buttons are working, spinners, climate control panel and dashboard.
- Dashboard
Before disassembling the dashboard and removing the arrows, it is necessary to remember and note their zero positions, To do this, supply power to the dashboard.
Now we can safely disassemble and remove the arrows. Turn the speedometer and tachometer counterclockwise and remove from the axis. The rest of the arrows have stops on diffusers, must be removed carefully so as not to break them. Otherwise, the arrows will fall over the zero marks..
Having examined the location and design, PCBs were made on a CNC machine. To install them, you need to slightly modify the dashboard housing. – remove protruding parts.

We fix the boards with hot glue and connect everything in parallel, three backlight wires must be led out through the hole in one of the backlight lamps.
On the reverse side, we install the soft ignition board and connect everything to the board.
To install the backlight board on the speedometer, you need to solder the connectors to the other side of the board so that they do not interfere.
The arrow illumination boards are glued to the diffusers on the reverse side., solder the power wires to the backlight boards.
Well, a short video for a more visual process of overexposure
